Be Confident - No Negative Talk

One of the hardest things in being confident in yourself is to stop talking negative to yourself. We are harder on ourselves than those around us are on us. We tend to be the most critical of ourselves.


Just think if you stopped being negative and started approving of yourself? The feeling that you have inside just by making that switch is a feeling of pure happiness and joy.


Nobody is perfect, and there is no reason to try and be perfect. Mistakes happen and that is how we learn and grow. Life would be boring if things were always perfect.


Here are a few things you can do to silence your inner critic:

  • Take Note of the Critic – for a week or two keep a journal. Each time you notice yourself being critical jot it down.

  • Put it in a Box – visualize a box in your mind then put that thought in that box and close it.

  • Embrace Things are not Perfect – relax your standards and give yourself some empathy

  • Shift to Positive Thinking – change to something that makes you feel positive

  • Try these few things to help you to be more positive about yourself. You will feel much better and you will be taking control of your thoughts.

It is so important for you to remember to stop all the negative talk that you have in your head and try and have positive thoughts.
