When You Don't Have a Mission That Is When Your Goals and Dreams Lose Focus

We would all love to say that we wake up in the morning feeling energetic, joyful and exhilarated, and move through the day with intention and purpose. Unfortunately, not all of us do this in our daily lives. We spend the larger part of our day trying to deal with unimportant things, fighting emotions and feeling exhausted. We even end up wondering what the point of it all is. This is what is called losing focus and purpose in life. Having a mission in life is having a purpose, the reason why you do the things you do. If you do not have a mission in life, then you are wasting up to 90 percent of your time and energy.

If you consider life to be too hard for you, too painful, if you feel unsatisfied with what is going on in your life and you feel that there must be more than this, if you tend to feel out of place, then you are yet to find your mission or purpose in your life.

Having a mission to which you are committed to will make you strong. Keeping your eyes focused on the long-term goals of your life’s mission is a series of events and does not occur as a single life event. This means that when you are focused short-term setbacks and unimportant events will have less impact on your life. However, for this to happen you will need a long-term objective, one that you strongly believe that it is more important than anything else. Your mission represents the central piece of your life.

The central piece of your life is you, other surrounding pieces can be your family, your kids, your health, home, a friend or your job. The centerpiece holds all the other pieces in place. You as the centerpiece, have an important role to play. This means that you must pick a great mission or purpose. You have to become aware of your purpose and committing to make your life better. By committing you will ensure that even during tough times nothing will take away your focus.

Any person can commit to a great mission in life. This does not have anything to do with impacting large groups of people for you to feel happy. Once you have committed to your mission, finding yourself and making great sacrifices may seem like small things to you because the commitment you made gives you the ability to rise above your perceived smaller self. It gives you courage, strength, and willpower to stay focused and achieve your goals.
