What is stopping you from having more in your life?

We all dream of achieving great things in life. Interestingly, some people manage to make their dreams come true while others fail miserably. Most of us make big plans, generate new resolutions or even set high goals but forget to pre-program our mind and body to make them happen. As a result, nothing happens in the end. Have you ever wondered what stops you from achieving everything you have always wanted?

Here’s why;

You don’t embrace change yet expect different results.

Most of us resist change completely but expect different results in the end. Doing the same thing repeatedly without making some improvement will not yield greatness. You must be willing to try new ways of doing things if you want success. Embracing positive changes can make all the difference for you. Imagine using the same mathematical formula that you a wrong answer and expecting to get it right. It makes no sense, right? Well, the same reasoning applies to everything in life. Learn to take calculated risks, seek second opinions and take a leap of faith forward.

You keep postponing things

It is common for people to keep consoling themselves that good things will happen when the right time comes. Sorry to burst your bubble but that’s backward thinking. You will achieve nothing in life if you keep waiting for the perfect time to do something. Make a declaration that now is the right time to make your dreams come true and you will be proud of yourself for making that decision. Make your time count by making the impossible possible.

Poor planning and disarrayed focus

Poor planning is one of the most lethal recipes for failure. Most people dream of making it in life but fail to use their time properly. Consequently, they pay a hefty price for their time mismanagement. You can become everything you’ve always dreamt of if only you plan your time appropriately. Use a journal to create a routine that will define how you spend your day and propel yourself to the top effortlessly. Getting there won’t be easy but you can make it if you remain focused and plan well at all times.

You are not a risk taker

Life is all about making experiments. As expected, most of us are not willing to take well-calculated risks at all. Clutching to negativity and fear of failure will always limit your success effectively. Success comes to those willing to take necessary risks. You must have the guts to keep trying new things without embracing the fear of failing if you want to make it big in life. Nothing is impossible provided that you are willing to learn from your mistakes and following your instincts.

In summary, you must refuse to allow yesterday’s rejections, be accountable, accept that nothing is perfect, embrace positive change, refuse to harbor self-doubt, help others, believe in yourself and have the will to take small strides towards success every day to make big things happen.
