Having More Does Not Always Make You Feel Like You Have Freedom Sometimes Having Less Is What True F

Wealth comes with its peaks, and one of the major benefits of having more is that it awards you a degree of freedom. When you have money you can make impulse decisions regarding spending, you can travel the world; you can buy beautiful things, you can even buy a person's respect. Generating wealth for yourself is a good way to get free. However, the freedom you get from money is limited. It is just financial freedom. Having money doesn't make you free of insecurities. Having money doesn't mean you have a bold mind that can face mental challenges. Having money is just that. It can cage you in more ways than you can imagine. True freedom starts from the mind. This is why having less, sometimes, can still award you the kind of freedom that counts. Remember that responsibilities accompany dreams. The more you acquire, the more responsibility you have. The more responsibility you have, the more baggage you have to carry. The more baggage you carry, the more chained you are. So, no, having more doesn't always translate to being free. To be truly free, sometimes, you need to let go of every material that binds you to this world, enter a mental void and be free. There is no significant relationship between freedom and wealth. Acquiring more of everything feels liberating. You feel liberated at first, but if you do not train your mind as you increase your wealth that feeling can quickly change. You can go from feeling free to feeling caged with time. This is because the aftermath of sudden wealth can make you feel unprepared and empty. You may come to realize that being wealthy isn't as easy as it seems. Yes, the money will provide the conditions required for gaining a degree of freedom and satisfaction, but it is not enough to keep you liberated mentally. Most times, what you need is a mental reevaluation. You need to figure who you are, what you want, and what is most important to you. You need to work on how you see things and not on gaining more wealth. The truth of the matter is that you will do what makes you happy no matter how much you have. You don't need to be wealthy to travel the world, and you just need to want it well enough to make it happen. If you don't convince yourself of what you want, you will keep making up excuses. Let's assume you want to travel, and you don't have enough money, freedom is when you make out time and put in an effort to make it happen. On the other hand, you are a prisoner if you keep making excuses. In that case, even when you have the money, you will not make the trip. Conclusion Freedom is worth fighting for. If you are the kind of person who feels you always need to acquire more to be free, you need to readjust your mindset. You need to understand that, sometimes, having less gives you more freedom than having more.
