You have more courage than you realize

You have more courage than you realize and showing vulnerability just makes you that much more courageous

The world we live in is created to function with many different principles that are meant guide our activities, and one of the most obvious of them all is the principle of 'day and night.' Each new day comes to us presenting surprises, and creating curiosities in our minds about what experiences, challenges and lessons we are to expect; this uncertainty creates the feeling of fear and worry in the minds of a majority of the people in our world. The matter of fear will be briefly discussed to help us identify it, know what attitude to portray when we meet it and know how to handle it wisely.

The Oxford advanced learners' dictionary says that fear is a bad feeling that you have when you are in danger, when something bad might happen, or when a particular thing frightens you. This definition point to us that the combination of these things that makes a person afraid tends to leave the person vulnerable. I would want to explain fear to you like something we meet at the dark corners of our journey in life; they frighten us, but it is just what we need to confirm the right choices that we make. I choose to see fear as a signpost that guides us to the best directions in though bends because when a person moves towards the direction that fears points and conquers, it makes this person stronger. This will be different for a person who runs away from their fear; they grow weaker as they continue avoiding their fears. Courage is built inside the person who chooses to conquer fear.

According to dictionary.com, courage is defined as the power or quality of dealing with or facing danger, fear, pain, etc. Courage does not just move without caution; it does not eradicate the existence of fear; rather courage allows a person to learn all the dangers and benefits in a decision, and helps to suggest ways to handle the situation positively. It is important to know that a person needs vulnerability to cultivate courage.

In situations of danger and fear, the helpless feeling inside a person is meant to push them into creating something that can help them in defense; they become alert and innovative. Accepting to be vulnerable is not as easy as it has just been said; it involves accepting our mistakes, disappointments, faults, and challenges with a positive mind-set, and deciding to improve in these areas. This vulnerability exposes you to embrace courage and become cautious, then things begin to make sense, and you can see clearly how you should conquer the fear in front of you. This is when a person discovers that they have more courage inside themselves than they know about; a new ability to explore this resource is released within them with so much inner strength, and the person will always continue to grow into a better human being.
